Simon and Fiona got married at the Haycock Manor Hotel and had had to wait a year to carry out their ceremony.

A Special Sand Ceremony!

Shona shared her thoughts on the service with me. When asked about their favourite part she said, “It was very relaxed, we were able to do whatever it liked and had the ceremony with our unique twist on a traditional wedding!”

Shona and Ciaran had lots of brilliant ideas for their bespoke ceremony. They chose the Lovely Leaf package and added a reading and a sand ceremony to the service. The sand ceremony included their parents which added a real family feel to the wedding day. There were some tears but plenty of giggles during the ceremony and a surprise for the groom when his best man ‘forgot’ the rings. Don’t worry as Sammy the dog saved the day! I thoroughly enjoyed planning this ceremony which had to be postponed for a year but ended up being such a wonderful day!

Beautiful Baby Naming Ceremony

Melissa and Ashley wanted to create a personal naming ceremony for their son Tyler. They asked friends to become ‘Godparents’ and included Grandparents’ promises too. It was a lovely day after a difficult year. Unfortunately some key guests couldn’t be there but through the power of zoom these people were able to watch the ceremony. The following words are from Melissa, mummy to baby Tyler who was a star throughout the day!

A Truly Summer Wedding!

Adam and Claire planned for an outdoor ceremony at Sisson’s Barn and they could not have planned the weather any better! It was blue skies all day! I loved preparing for this ceremony even though the circumstances were challenging with restrictions changing leading up to the couple’s big day. We need not have worried as the day went perfectly!

Donna was amazing in the service she provided to us for our wedding. We met with her so she could get to know us as a couple to make sure the ceremony was personalised for us as well as a rehearsal a couple of weeks before our big day. We kept in regular contact leading up to our wedding with a few changes needed which were quickly adapted without questions asked. Donna also guided my groom and kept him calm prior to my arrival which was needed on an extremely hot day worrying about all the guests. Thank you so much for everything once again, you really made our day super special!!”

A Christmas Ceremony!

Charlotte & Ryan held their wedding ceremony in December 2020 at Sisson’s Barn, Peterborough. They were looking for a simple ceremony and were so lucky they managed to go ahead with the event at the end of this most difficult year!
